R.I. Gen. Laws § 11-60-2
§ 11-60-2. Definitions.
As used in this chapter:
(1) âLicensed health care professionalâ means a physician, surgeon, podiatrist, osteopath, osteopathic physician and surgeon, physician assistant, nurse, nurse anesthetist, dentist, or pharmacist licensed pursuant to title 5.
(2) âSuicideâ means the act or instance of taking oneâs own life voluntarily and intentionally.
