§ 25-2-5. Old Home Week designated.
The calendar week beginning with the first Sunday of July in each year, or any subsequent week during the months of July, August, or September in each year, is designated as âOld Home Week,â and is set apart as a season during which cities and towns may conduct appropriate celebrations in honor of returning sons and daughters of the state and other invited guests and may hold exercises of historical interest.
