R.I. Gen. Laws § 3-7-17
§ 3-7-17. Discretionary fees.
Where it is provided that a license fee shall be from a minimum to a maximum sum, the amount within those limits shall be fixed in the discretion of the issuing body, but in any city or town the fee for retailersâ licenses shall be uniform in every class.
