R.I. Gen. Laws § 40-15-5
§ 40-15-5. âAppropriate authority in the receiving stateâ defined.
As used in paragraph (a) of article V of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the phrase âappropriate authority in the receiving stateâ with reference to this state shall mean the department of children, youth and families.
